Is there a texture on your Canvases?Updated 13 days ago

Our studio canvases are flat, canvas prints. If any of these canvases have the appearance of texture, that is from the excellent detail of the artwork present in the image, and not an actual texture. Our inks do have a UVB protectant, so there is no need to cover the canvas in order to make it stand the test of time – we've done that for you!

HOWEVER!

We now provide some of our art with texture (aka embellishment) added! In these cases, it is specifically called out as a "Textured/Embellished Canvas." You can view our textured art here

What this means: After the art is printed, the piece is then expertly hand-embellished by one of five artists. Using either a palette knife or brush (depending on the artwork), they apply a proprietary watercolor-meets-acrylic material (similar to gel medium) to the printed canvas. This material adds a semi-translucent depth and added interest to the piece that makes it feel like you are experiencing an original work of art – because you are!

We would love for you to to check out the new Textured Art Collection!
