To Clean Your Canvas:

Typically, your canvas will only need a light dusting every now and then. If you should need to spot clean your canvas, use a damp cloth that only has water on it – no cleaners, please!

If you happen to scuff your canvas, we've found that dotting the scuff (not coloring back and fourth) with a color comparable Bic Mark It Marker can help to touch up a tiny spot and make it less noticeable!

To Store Your Canvas:

Please take care in storing your canvases – anything that leans up against the canvas will "dent" the soft canvas material, specifically on the traditional canvases which are all hand stretched. If this should happen, no worries! The indent should come out if you wipe the back of the canvas with very hot water, and then sit it upright and let it dry. Depending on the depth of the indent, you may need to repeat the process a few times, but it should end up stretched tight like a drum again! This also works if your canvas becomes loose over time.

If Your Traditional Canvas Starts To Loosen or Winkle:

Due to the organic nature of class and wood, it’s possible that your canvas material may loosen a little over time. This is because certain ranges in climate (temperature and humidity) can cause the wood to expand and contract. If it should happen, take heart – it's a fast and easy fix! Find an empty clean spray bottle and fill it with hot water and spray the back side of your canvas. The warm water will stretch the canvas, much like when we wash and then dry our clothes. Once dry, it should be perfectly taut again!
