How do I print my Downloadable Print (and how many)?Updated 5 months ago
How do I print it my 12 Days Downloadable Print?
Printable downloads are designed as 8x10 pieces of art, to be printed on traditional Letter sized paper – 8.5" x 11" @ 300 dpi.
Print on your home printer as you would any PDF, or else at your local print center, such as FedEx Office or Office Max. A print shop may ask for written consent from the creator, which you find find on the legal page in your download.
If this is your first time printing with a print shop, we suggest putting the file on a drive of sorts and heading in to your local print center so you can discuss paper options, etc. They can give you instructions on emailing future projects and getting notified when it's ready for pick-up.
How many may I print?
Up to but not exceeding three (3) prints (unless you have written consent from Lindsay Letters®), for personal use or gifts only.
You may not use the artwork in any other way than it’s original intent. For example, you may not forward the file, redistribute and/or sell the print, or use the artwork to create canvases or posters. You may not separate the artwork and use it as part of an invitation or any other piece, printed or digital. We greatly appreciate your compliance!
What kind of paper should I use?
Honestly, we’ve used everything!
When we're in a pinch and putting it in a frame, sometimes we’ll even skip the cardstock and use good ‘ole normal printer paper. No one will know! If you'd like to use fancy paper, our favorite paper to print on at home is Paper Source Paper. It has a slight texture which makes even inkjet prints feel fancy! People have also had good luck with photo paper.
