About Our Frames For Canvas & Art Prints

We are proud to be able to provide beautiful, custom-made frames for Lindsay Letters artwork. While our frames are an additional investment, purchasing a framed piece here will be less expensive than taking it to a traditional frame shop – and less time-consuming. They add a chic finishing touch to any piece – I think of them like "jewelry" for my art!

The sizes listed for our Canvases and Framed Prints is the size of the actual Art Print only. Each frame adds extra inches to the final produced piece, and each of our frames has different widths and dimensions.

If you're trying to specifically fit a certain space, we strongly suggest measuring the space you have in mind for your piece and then reviewing the sizes below. (Tip!: Grab your phone calculator and use masking tape or painters tape to tape off the area first!)

Disclaimer: Each art print, mat, and frame are cut by hand. While we aim to give you 100% accurate info, it's possible that there could be small discrepancies. Please allow for possible slight variation of up to 1/4" tolerance caused by beautiful human hands preparing and hand-trimming your art!

The sizes listed for our canvases are sizes of the actual exact size of the art. Each frame adds extra inches to the final produced piece, and each of our frames has different widths and dimensions. We suggest measuring the space you have in mind for your piece and then reviewing the sizes below.

Gallery Frames:

Frame Width: 3/8" of material and then a 3/8" gap between the canvas and the frame (0.75" added to each side 1.5" added to each dimension)
Depth: 1.25" Deep. (This is how thick the completed canvas will come off of the wall as the front of the canvas is flush with the front of the frame).
Our Gallery Frames are currently available in five colors: White, Black, Walnut, Aged Brass, and Natural.

Gallery White

The Gallery White is a satin finish, white on all sides – both interior and exterior – and gives art a museum-esque finish. This frame is one of our frequent choices for abstract art, as it really allows the artwork to really shine and creates a finished, polished look.

Gallery Black

The Gallery Black frame has a satin-finish black on all sides – both interior & exterior – and adds a beautiful bit of contrast around your art. (Kind of like eyeliner for your art!)

Gallery Raw Walnut

The Gallery Raw Walnut frame is a wood print with a satin finish on all sides.

Gallery Aged Brass

This gallery finishing is an understated, moody metallic that adds a subtle shimmer to the face the Gallery frame, with the sides of this frame featuring a lovely matte black finish. While it’s not an in-your-face yellow gold, it adds an unexpected little something special to your artwork — especially when the light hits it just right.

Gallery Natural

This beautiful and understated natural wood frame is the darling of the group. You'll love the subtle grain of the light wood, which is sealed but not stained, allowing the natural beauty of the Pine to speak for itself. No two frames are exactly alike!

Coastal White Frame:

The Coastal White frame is our answer to Farmhouse Chic. It Is a printed photograph of real woodgrain, with a nice texture that pays homage to raw wood (only much easier to clean and care for). This frame has tones of white, grey, taupe, and sable.
